How to get there

The Philharmonie is in walking distance (10-15 minutes) of Haarlem Centraal railway station (map).

The nearest airport is Schiphol Airport that serves close to 200 European destinations and more than 140 intercontinental destinations. Also Rotterdam – The Hague Airport is not far away, serving about 40 destinations in Europe, Africa and Turkey.

To reach the Philharmonie from Schiphol Airport by public transport you can take bus 300 (to Haarlem station) from the bus terminal. It takes about 35 minutes to bus stop Centrum. From there it is less than 10 minutes to the Philharmonie through the city centre. (public transport departure times). Price for a single transit is about € 5,= to be paid with the public transport OV Chipkaart. You can buy a disposable card at the AKO bookshop or at the NS Railway counters at Schiphol Plaza.

If you prefer to take the train to Haarlem that is also possible, but there is no direct connection to Haarlem. It takes about 30 minutes and you have to change at Amsterdam Sloterdijk (see Journeyplanner | NS). Price for a single fare is about € 6,50. Amsterdam Sloterdijk is also your most convenient stop to get to Haarlem if you travel to Amsterdam by Flixbus.

Some hotels offer shuttle services from and to the airport.
