Harold van Heeringen

Drs. Harold van Heeringen is currently the president of the International Software Benchmarking Standards Group (ISBSG).

Harold graduated from the university of Groningen in business economics in 1997 after which he worked for IT service provider Sogeti for 17 years as a senior consultant software metrics / software cost engineer. In 2015, he moved to sourcing advice and benchmarking services provider METRI, where he works as a senior consultant benchmarking, mainly in the application domain.

Harold is active as a board member of Nesma, where he is responsible for international cooperation, e.g. the partnership with SPI China. Harold used to be in the

COSMIC Benchmarking committee, which has carried out two COSMIC data collection initiatives, resulting in a substantial number of data submissions to the ISBSG.
